NLAC to meet with key Auto Manufacturers at the National Latino Automotive Summit on May 31, 2012 in Tampa, FL

Top Priorities for NLAC:

  • Access to Auto Dealerships for Latinos
  • Access to Auto Supplier Contracts for Latinos
  • Access to Capital for Latino Supplies and Dealers

As a result of overwhelming support and requests, it has been determined that the National Latino Automotive Council (NLAC) will be re-launched in an effort to address the lack of access and opportunities for Hispanic businesses and non profits in the areas of: dealerships, supplier contracts, media-advertising, philanthropy and high level auto manufacturer executive positions.

NLAC has begun to form a committee of more than 125 state, regional and national Latino organizational leaders that will oversee all NLAC efforts. These professionals understand the importance of the automotive industry and that there is a continued gap in Latino access and opportunities.
